I truly feel like everything happens for a reason, because working with Kaitlyn Rubio was one of the best parts of my wedding day. I had originally inquired with her for my first wedding date, but she was already booked. After our wedding was unexpectedly canceled due to the blizzard and we rescheduled to April 3rd, my original makeup artist ended up not being able to make the new date. Without hesitation, I reached back out to Kaitlyn—and somehow, she was available. It honestly felt meant to be. From the moment she arrived, she brought such a calm, fun, and positive energy. She did my makeup, my bridesmaids, and my mom, and absolutely crushed every single look. Everyone looked stunning—but still like themselves, just elevated and flawless. And my makeup… I have no words. I have never felt more beautiful in my life. She listened to exactly what I wanted and somehow made it even better. My sister could not stop saying she looked like an “AI filter,” which honestly says it all—our skin looked that smooth, glowy, and perfect in real life. Everything lasted all day and night, through all the emotions, photos, and dancing, and still looked incredible. But beyond her talent, Kaitlyn just made me feel so comfortable, confident, and taken care of. That feeling on your wedding day is everything. I am so beyond grateful that things worked out the way they did because I truly cannot imagine anyone else doing our makeup. If you’re thinking about booking her, do it immediately. She is unbelievably talented and such a pleasure to be around.”
